What makes a NSP a natural swimming pool is the elimination of chemicals. The swimming pools are designed as two separate entities, the swimming zone and the regeneration zone. The swimming zone is separated by a sub-surface retaining wall which retains a special washed gravel that is free of phosphorous and aquatic plants which are needed to create the natural filtration system for the NSP design.

The building of a NSP is a totally "Green" approach to pool installation. Barely tapped in the United States, Natural Swimming Pools have been a part of the pool industry in Europe for over 20 years and are now in 38 countries including Austria, Germany, Netherlands and Sweden to name a few.

James Robyn, and his wife Hae-Sun of Robyn Pools in Hackettstown, NJ own the rights to design & build NSP's in the US. To learn more about the design/build process go to www.bionovanaturalpools.com
